When I was writing my previous post, I wasn’t aware of this iPhone application: CultureGPS.

There is a free and a professional edition.
With this app you can ‘navigate’  across the 5 culture dimensions of various  countries  ( around 100). The professional edition allows comparisons between countries as well a personal cultural profile assessment.

I downloaded the lite edition and checked some data against the Hofstede books I own. I  found out that the were identical. This surprised me negatively. But then I thought it shouldn’t. After all national cultures do not change year after year.
